Who We Are
-
We are a coalition of local community leaders, longtime residents, parents, volunteers, and small business owners who believe decisions affecting Hilltown should be made through a transparent, informed, and accountable public process.
Our members bring experience from a variety of backgrounds, including environmental stewardship, land use and planning, public service, engineering, communications, education, and community advocacy. Together, we volunteer our time to research public records, attend meetings, submit Right-to-Know requests, and make complex zoning and development information easier for everyone to understand.
Because of the attention surrounding this proposal, we have chosen not to publicly identify our volunteers or supporting local businesses. This allows them to participate in community education without concern for unwanted harassment, intimidation, or pressure. Our focus is on the facts, the public record, and ensuring every resident has access to accurate information.
-
Our mission is to educate, inform, and empower the community by providing accessible information about the proposed Bright Feeds facility and the local land use process. We believe informed residents are essential to thoughtful community decision-making.
-
Transparency — We promote access to public information and encourage open government.
Accuracy — We strive to present information supported by official documents, public records, and reliable sources.
Community — We believe residents deserve a meaningful voice in decisions that may affect their neighborhoods and quality of life.
Respect — We welcome civil dialogue and encourage participation from all members of the community, regardless of their views on the project.
